We are quickly approaching one of my favorite holidays of
the year: Independence Day! This weekend will be filled with barbeques,
parades, fireworks and festivals. I am sure that many of you are already on
your way to the festivities as I write this!

Around July 4^th every year, I try think about
patriotic things I can do to celebrate the birth of our country. This year, I
realized that a great way to do so would be to meet with my Members of Congress on issues important
to me!

You can do the same by signing up to attend a meeting with your Member of
Congress as a part of the Promise to Remember Me Campaign. What better way to
honor the values set forth by the Founding Fathers than by meeting with Members
of the Congress they created?

Making sure everyone’s voice can be heard was an important
value upon which our country was based. This Independence Day, make your voice
heard by signing up to
attend a Promise meeting – it’s the patriotic thing to do!
