In November 2011, JDRF—formerly known as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation—launched a refreshed logo, new tag line, and a name that better reflects the state of type 1 diabetes (T1D) and the organization’s work, which remains committed to curing, treating, and preventing the disease.
We understand that the word "juvenile" is no longer descriptive of the disease or those burdened with it. JDRF market research tells us that, today, 85 percent of those in the U.S with type 1 diabetes are adults. We must communicate that JDRF is an organization for ALL ages, and ALL stages of this disease
To parallel to our efforts in rebranding JDRF, we are excited to announce the name change of Juvenation. As your community, a place for you to share information, feedback and gain support, we invite you to submit your suggestions of the new site name. We value your input and encourage you to share your ideas with us.
We look forward to your participation in this rebranding opportunity.
