  • Hey guys if anyone has some advice on my litlle problem that would really help me ! So im off my pump and im taking 35 units of levimer in the morning but by 11am im around 23 -26 (  414- 468 ) but  when I give myseld 36 units I go low and by 5 pm if I don't treat the high I go low Does anyone have any idea on how to stop this ??

  • What about taking 1/2 your Levemir dose in the morning (8am), and the other half at night (8pm)?  Or maybe taking all of it at night instead of morning?

    T1 since age 10.  Pumping since 2009.

  • I agree that most people have more luck splitting the levemir dose.

Also, what time are you eating breakfast? Could this be a post-breakfast high and you need a different carb ratio at breakfast?

Once I'm very high or low, the corrections become a roller coaster! :P Hopefully fixing late morning will help the rest of your day go better?
