Extra Glucose Monitors
Anyone know what I can do with extra monitors? I've checked with a local medical recycling program here in Madison, but have a surplus and won't take anymore. Not looking to profit...just want to give them to a good home rather than throwing them away.

Good before-bed snacks/ levels?
I was just recently diagnosed so I'm still testing in the middle of the night and trying to figure out some patterns in my levels. I guess a lot of it depends on your sleep schedule and longacting/ basal rate, but I was curious, have any of you found a number or range that you feel comfortable going...

I recently started a student organization that is dedicated to spreading advocacy, awareness, and doing fundraising for JDRF. Just out of curiosity, how open are you in terms of sharing information about diabetes/management/your pump/shots..basically everything that affects you when it comes to diabetes...

I think my biggest problem with the disease, other than not being able to eat whatever I want, whenever I want, is that I can't go anywhere without my purse because I have to carry all my supplies. I'm 16 years old! I wanna go to the mall and eat and not have to look up the carbs I'm eating...
