37 years or so, some time in 1974 -- back when we tested blood sugar by peeing on a yellow strip of paper that would show sugar levels by turning green.... Good times, good times.
I was diangosed December 19, 2003 (so just over 7 years)

19 years for me.
I just celebrated 30 years in December of T1 and no complications. My daughter will be 3 years in May.
I've had type1 for about 5 months, diagnosed 8/2010 at 36!
February 13,2011 will be 1 year
32 years, dx'd Sept. 1978, I was 24, just started college, married 1 year.
diagnosed formally July 28th, 2010 at age 46...still on MDI roller coaster...will start pumping soon
