Seeking T1D adult patients to assist with doctoral survey - Please help

My doctoral project is on interspecies entities and research. It involves a comparative survey

I'm seeking (i) two Type 1 diabetic patients from the US; and

(ii) four Type 1 diabetic patients from the EU. All participants need to be 18 years and over.

Crossing Species Boundaries: Perspectives from Patients, Parents and Practice

This project explores public perceptions on the human-animal distinction and the mixing of human and animal biological material in medical research (eg islet xenotransplantation to treat type 1 diabetes).

The survey involves completing a written questionnaire consisting of 30 tick-box questions and 5 discussion questions. I anticipate that it will take about an hour to complete.

Participants will be compensated for their time with a book voucher.

I am 49 years old...female and diagnosed with type 1 two years ago. My sister Kathy is 58 and was diagnosed last year as a type 1. We have many autoimmune issues in our family. My mom has had addisons for 40 years. Let me know if we can help. We are very happy people bu have quite the family health  history...more than I' have disclosed.
