85 this morning. Glad yesterday is over, glucose-wise.
Possibly learned a few things:
1. Don't take Whey Protein shake before exercise, only after it.2. If glucose readings look really unusual, change infusion set and site. Some sites, even if they are not bad, don't absorb as well as others.3. Glucose tablets can be as lethal as any other carb and unfortunately, in my case, they don't act much faster either.
The blood glucose roller coaster is fueled by OVER CORRECTIONS,both of lows by ingesting too much sugar carbs, and of highs by injecting too much fast-acting insulin. Unfortunately neither worksfast enough to correct the situation and boh stay in your systemlonger than you think.

woke up at 7.4(133.2) this morning. yaaaaaaaay.
hey when you guys eat eggs, so you do a carb dose?? i'm eating two hard boiled eggs right now for breakfast at work..and i've been doing it all week..i only give myself one unit for each egg..but that's cuz i have NO idea if i should be or not...
Batts, congrats on the 7.4. According to http://www.carb-counter.net, one large chicken egg has .4g of carbohydrate. Dang near free. So 2 eggs would be less than 1g. I wouldn't dose anything for that, but it's up to you.
