We want to share the experience of being here at FFL with all 10,000+ members of the Juvenation community. We need your help to do it!
Use the space below to write a few lines or a paragraph or two about your time here at FFL. Have you done or seen anything cool that you want to share? Here’s your chance to let everyone know!
Your contribution will be posted on a live blog on Juvenation. Then, when you get home, you can check it out and join Juvenation to stay in touch with your friends with type 1 and meet new ones.
So what are you waiting for? Start blogging now!
Everyone's busy getting ready for the conference, which begins in just a few hours. We're excited to share it with the Juvenation community!
Check back later for updates, live from attendees here at FFL. And, if you're here in Orlando at the conference, stop by the JDRF booth to post about your experiences!
Awesome! Will spread the word ASAP!
Hi everyone! I joined Juvenation awhile ago. I think it is imperative to get to know and keep in touch with type 1 diabetics. On that note, if anyone out there attended Camp NYDA years ago, a reunion for all camp member has been planned for the weekend of August 14th. Please go to the Camp NYDA site on facebook or the Camp NYDA reunion site on facebook. We have reunited over 200 friends and it is great. We have had mini reunions in the city but this reunion in August is gonna be great. If you respond to this, I will get you as much info as I can. Hope there are some of you out there and hope to hear from you.

Very interesting focus group on the Artificial Pancreas held this afternoon by Animas. Lots of feedback from kids with type 1 and their parents on expectations for an Artificial Pancreas, what they think it should and should not do, areas of concern, and what they would need to be comfortable using it. JDRF's Aaron Kowalski also spoke about the science behind developing an Artificial Pancreas, and where it stands today. Input from people with type 1 and their loved ones will be so crucial to developing new closed loop technologies.
Next up, the grand opening of the exhibit hall!
Woot the events are getting underway in such an amazing mood right now can't wait. :)

Delicious food thus far; carb counts are awesome
CWD has been amazing this year. My first year as a child living with instead of being a sibling has been amazing all thanks to the conference! The people here rock and the food is great. The support is amazing and I's never felt more..."normal".
Great opening night! Love the big booth space and having Aaron Kowalski and Moira McCarthy here with us:-)
My son has been living with Type 1 for 10 years now and while I have heard of the website Children with Diabetes I have not followed it and thus had no idea about the conference. It sounds like everyone is having a wonderful time. I need to look into going to next years!
