The first month of the Promise to Remember Me Campaign is half over, and we are seeing tremendous results! We set a goal to schedule 100 meetings with Members of Congress during the month of August, and JDRF advocates have scheduled or held 67 meetings. I know that we will achieve and even surpass our goal if we continue at this pace!
We need advocates like you to make that happen! The connections advocates make with their Members of Congress during these meetings are critical to ensuring JDRF's effectiveness in Washington, D.C. This was demonstrated by JDRF advocates from Virginia when they met with Senator Jim Webb earlier this month.
