Diabetes Won't Stop Us!

I chose to join this community to help bring more awareness to the issues we face, and to bring comfort to all who also have the same struggles.  MStangs' (short for Maurice's Mustangs our JDRF walk team name).

I am a Stay at home Mom, small business owner, and the Praise Dance Team Leader @ my church who is also the main hub of communication for my son’s school and Endocrinologist in regard to the management of his Diabetes.   Maurice has lived with Type 1 Diabetes for 12 years (diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was only 23months old) so not by choice but out of necessity I have become very well versed on the ins and outs of managing T1.
