No, I don't mean on your body. I mean place you were in. For me....well, I've taken more shots than I can count in bathrooms - no other place to do it! - but I think the most interesting place of all was Medieval Times - a restaurant where they serve you dinner in this auditorium place and you watch a show about life in medieval times. It was rather annoying for me because all my friends were digging in but I had to wait until I got my entire meal to take my shot and eat (they served your meal in bits, so you'd get soup, then bread a half hour later, then chicken later, etc.). Anyway, when I finally took my shot there were lights flashing and a loud announcer - I didn't want to go to th bathroom to do it because a.) it was very crowded and b.) I didn't want to miss the show. But it was a very odd place to take a shot.  :)

When I did shots I got pretty good at giving them at a stoplight, while driving.  

lol i have a pump now but mine was probly in the middle of a water park with a big group of mi friends watching

i used to take it in the bathroom a lot when i first got diagnosed...but not so much any more! i've also done it in a water park..and in a restaurant once i did it in my thigh, and this waiter was staring at me like i was a drugeey or something!!!it's weird sometimes...

When I used shots I usually gave them in the bathroom after lunch at school... but when we went to band camp one summer, we stopped to eat breakfast and I forgot to give the shot before we got back on the bus... so I gave it sitting at a stop sign on the bus!! :)

My werdiest spot was on the field hockey field during a game .I was super high and I couldnt come off so infront of everyone my coach hands me my needle and right there I injected myself

In the car. I've been to the same place! I thought it was so fun. Lucky for me, I had my pump long before that so I could just get boluses whenever they brought the next course.

i love medieval times <3.... but mine has probably been in my car or waiting in line for a ride at disney world  

In the bathroom at a truck stop with I was with my dad one time and I was running high. It was weird.

Hooray for Medieval Times! Lucky you had the pump...I had to wait until they brought the main course to eat, while all my friends were slurping up their soup! lol Anyway, I used to do it in the bathroom a ton, and even in the nurse's office at school when I was first diagnosed (every once in a while a girl would come in while my supplies were strewn all over the table...awkward! :)  ) Recently I just went on vacation to Michigan with my family, and one day we hiked to a place called Pyramid Point that has an AMAZING view of Lake Michigan. We ate a picnic lunch up there, so I had to take insulin on a ground completely covered with sand but with the most gorgeous view staring me in teh face...pretty cool. :)

On a horse just before I went into a show with about 20 other people and horses around me- it was also the weirdest "place" right above the knee... Yeah don't ever do that lol

Well I just began taking shots again( first time since I was nine.) But my weirdest place yet was probably in the computer lab at school my whole honors English class was there and I felt like I was going to throw up so I just popped it in my arm right there freaked my teacher out and one of the guys said that's cool what kind of drug is that. lol

In the parking lot of a drug rehab facility (I wasn't going to give myself a shot in front of recovering drug addicts so I went to the parking lot where it was more private...)

Well I was spending the night at a friends house and he doesn't like needles so he asked me not to take my shot in front of him.  Well, instead of going to the bathroom or going to a different room, I went into his closet and did it in there.  It was a tight squeeze but I some how managed to do it! lol

lol these stories are pretty funny!! I love Medieval Times!!!!!!! When i went there i did have my pump so i was lucky but the weirdest place for me would probably have to be at the mall...i was actually in the bathroom but it was obviously crowded so it was just as awkward!!! but also on the beach bc i try to hide behind the beach chair or something...lol...at the nurse's office i would always see people and they would stare at me and be like ummmmm...? and in my head i would be like "its none of your business so stop staring!"
