Love/Hate Relationship with CGM
pumpinmomofthree
My CGM often hurts when I insert it, since the minimed needle is freakin gigantic and the insertion is pretty rickety in comparison to inserting my infusion set. I know that we're waiting for the technology to improve, so I deal. I also have soreness on the third day where I almost count down to...

Sticky

I currently have a medtronic pump and CGM. For the most part, I'm happy with it. What is bothering me the most is the type of sticky tape I'm using to cover it. I use the IV3000 tape. What I found is that it doesn't stick very well around the edges especially and that it irritates my skin...

CGM for sale
Heidi
I have a medtronic / minimed CGM I need to get rid of. I used it for about a month and it just wasn't for me. If anyone is interested in buying it please let me know. I had to pay quite a bit out of pocket for it. Any reasonable offer will be considered.

Every low she would have without any symptoms would make me sick knowing there was a device out there...

CGM Resource Website

Hey all, I just found out about a website Dexcom put together "for CGM insight, education, and tools". It looks like there will also soon be a community function, so we can share stories there, too. (Though, I'm not sure I want Dexcom knowing where I put my sensors, etc.... ha.) Thought...

Re: Advice on getting CGMS
Rachel
Hi All, Not sure what everyone thinks of this, but I have a Dexcom 7 I'd be willing to sell. There's nothing wrong with it, I used it infrequently and was able to upgrade to a 7plus (due to reaching my out-of-pocket maximum last year). I believe I got it in 11/08 and used occasionally for 6 months...
