Mo, You just reminded me that my son expressed that same issue when his insulin came straight from fridge as well. It reminded me that that is why we always keep a bottle at room temperature even though he is on a pump. Lorraine

Hello Niki, I am saddened by your story and am actually a bit upset at the same time (not at you but the school0. If I am not mistaken the teacher and whoever else is unwilling to help are in violation of the 504 plan (at least they should be if I am wrong). I'm not sure what state you live in but...

My son's attitude and mood is horrible. He gets agitated, frustrated, and cries over minor things. This started about a month before his type 1 diagnosis. I wonder is he depressed? But he is still happy and having fun till something does not go his way. Will it take awhile for me to have my old son...

I have a question about the 504 form (or any other form I may need to fill out) my son goes to a licensed home daycare provider and I was wondering if the 504 form works for them as well, not just public schools- I know it works with private schools but daycare I'm not sure about. need to know asap...

I am from the new orleans area and since old katrina things here have not gotten any better for anyone with medical problems but i am going to try something new with the doctors at his next apt to try to get more help in our area for these kids and there familys i am hopefuul i can get the help he needs...
