I need help coming up with fun ideas for summer camp! As the diabetes education instructor, it's my job to teach campers things they don't already know about T1D and still have fun doing it. Water games, slip n slides, building things and a little friendly competition are always good to incorporate, but I'm not sure how they can coincide with diabetes..
Any thoughts?
Game Show - Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Smarter Than a Pancreas
Running Pictionary - words like ketones, ripped out pump site, 0 carb veggie
Mad Science - use a meter to find out if milk or berries have more glucose
Create a Fable - characters, places, title
Thumb Ball - peer sharing
