  • Hey all- I just moved to DC recently. Anyone have any suggestions for endocrinologists and/or diabetes specialists? I have a Minimed pump, I'm 23, and was diagnosed like ten years ago. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

  • Courtney!!  Hi it's Delia from the Capitol Chapter!  I am SO sorry that I have not seen this post before now!  Not really sure how that happened!?  Anywho,  I see Dr. Suzanne Adler at GW, and there are a few other recommendations amongst our AT1 (adults with type 1) group, so I will pull those names.  Are you familiar with this group?  We have happy hours every month or so - we have a lot of fun!!  We are actually in the process of transferring the group's website to Juvenation so you'll have to get connected on here, if you aren't already linked in with the group. In the meantime, shoot me an email if you want to get on our email list! dwhitfield@jdrf.org look forward to hearing from you! :)

  • Hi Courtney I go to the Joslin Diabetes Center in Lanham, MD 8118 Good Luck Rd Ste 500 Lanham, MD 20706 Ph:  301 552-8661 & my doctor's name is Dr Chandana Konduru, She's an excellent Endocrinologist.  Try Her out!!!!!
