Hey everyone!
Last year I contacted JDRF Dallas, TX chapter to set up the process of doing a charity event to help raise money for JDRF. Bowl for Diabetes..It says it all! I raised about $6,000.00 that was donated and this year’s goal is at least $10,000.00. Included was 3 hours of bowling (5 member teams), food, auction items, a live 20 piece jazz band, and a special guest appearance from a Dallas Stars player! It was a learning experience and I am already starting to work on the 2010 date! Bowl for Diabetes will be August 21, 2010 in Plano, TX. More info will follow as it becomes available.

Hi Chelsea. I was diagnosed back in 2007 with Type 1. Just recently, I was diagnosed with Type 2! My family and I thought it was a joke, but it's true!
