Each of the 150+ JDRF Children’s Congress Delegates get to spend time with their Members of Congress, sharing personal stories, photos and asking Congress to help change the course of type 1 diabetes (T1D). Fallon also had the opportunity to also meet with Margaret A. Hamburg, M.D., Commissioner of the FDA to discuss her participation in clinical trials. JDRF 2013 Children’s Congress was a life changing experience for Fallon and helped shape the power she now feels her voice has.
