The Friday Five, Nov. 15

Hi Friends!

We hope everyone had a great World Diabetes Day! For National Diabetes Awareness Month, JDRF and TypeOneNation went true blue on T1Day, and we’ll be decked out in blue all month long for awareness! In honor of WDD yesterday, we are dedicating our Friday Five to diabetes awareness and advocacy.

World Diabetes Day 2013
Did you help your city or town get a building lit up in blue? Did you start a support group? Write a new blog post? Told a co-worker to wear blue? How did you create awareness for diabetes on World Diabetes day? Share what you did in the World Diabetes Day group

The Big Blue Test
Since 2010, the Diabetes Hand Foundation has been hosting the Big Blue Test where you check your blood sugar, do 15 minutes of exercise and check again. By participating you can help those in need of insulin and supplies all around the world! Did you do The Big Blue Test? Share your results and thoughts with us!
