T1D Nominated to US Olympic Hall of Fame

Many of us in the type 1 diabetes (T1D) community know and love
the name Gary Hall, Jr. Not only for all that Gary’s accomplished as a swimmer
during the Olympics (see link towards bottom for more on Gary’s Olympic career)
but also for all that he does to advocate and help the T1D community. Today, you
can help
Gary by voting for him to be selected to the US
Olympic Hall of Fame
!

Over the last six years, I have meet Gary Hall several times and
he’s always come across gracious and down to earth and I think he would be a
great representative of the T1D
community on the US Olympic Hall of Fame
.
Having a role model in the T1D community such as Gary, who is impacted by T1D
on a personal level but still continues to persevere daily… for example,
winning 6 of 10 Olympic medals (two of them gold) after being diagnosed with
T1D… is exactly the type of person we should support so they can continue to be
shining examples of T1D never holding anyone back!

Vote Gary
Hall Jr. for the US Olympic Hall of Fame

and do it every day, at least once a day, until April 9, 2012!
