information about how far we’ve come with research because of federal funding
programs like the Special
Diabetes Program (SDP).

However, to continue this progress, we need T1D
advocates to send
an email to their Members of Congress and remind them of the important
contributions the SDP has made towards diabetes research. See the story
below about Kerry and the artificial pancreas trial she participated in, which was
supported by the SDP, and help
make sure the SDP funded research continues:
